RESIDENZE

EN
The LA MA collective warmly welcomes artists, scientists and other individuals who work in a process-oriented manner to La Mandria. The venue also offers a residency programme as a platform for individuals and collectives engaged in artistic, ecological and social issues. The diverse local flora and fauna and the immediate proximity to wild nature invite visitors to explore nature, its boundaries and (co-)existence, as well as collective and sustainable ways of working.
*Ma 間 is a Japanese concept that refers to all aspects of life. It is described as a pause in time, an interval or a void in space and literally means ‘gap’, “space” or ‘pause’. Ma is the essential void between all things and creates the space and time for things to exist, stand out and have meaning.
DE
