Travel information

The nearest airports are Pisa (approximately one and a half hours away) and Genova (two hours). Guests have also arrived via Parma and Milano. Car hire is available at all major airports. By road the nearest Autostrada is the A15, La Spezia to Parma, and the exit is at Aulla.
At La Spezia the A15 connects with the A12, Livorno to Genova, which also passes Pisa.
The nearest town to La Mandria is Fivizzano, 21 kilometres from Aulla on the SS63 to Passo del Cerreto. La Mandria is 4 kilometres north of Fivizzano on the road to Cotto.

The nearest major railway station is at Aulla which has services to Parma, Pisa etc. and to La Spezia which is on the main north-south rail route including international services.
A bus service operates between Aulla and Fivizzano but it is fair to say that public transport is fairly limited in this area and most guests choose to drive.
