Environmental issues

We are in the process of reducing electricity and gas consumption by switching to low energy lighting, modifying the water supply system and installing a solar water heating system. We are also looking at ways of making the pool more energy efficient. We already manage our woodland for all our heating requirements and much of our winter cooking and hot water, which helps, and the arrival of our mountain ponies with their healthy appetites has substantially reduced the use of fossil fuel for grass cutting. Future plans include acquiring two donkeys for more of the same in smaller areas. It may not be much in the grand scheme of things but we are trying and find 10/10 a great source of support.
